Where is AT&T U-verse available in Tennessee?

Since December 2008, AT&T U-verse service is available in parts of Tennessee. Since then, AT&T is working hard on broadening its U-verse service for the rest of Tennessee residents. Below is chronological review of AT&T U-verse availability in Tennessee.

AT&T Fiber Now Available in Knoxville Area

Knoxville, Tenn., Feb 14, 2017 – 1 gigabit connection on AT&T's 100% fiber network powered by AT&T Fiber is now available to customer locations in parts of the Knoxville area. AT&T markets its ultra-fast service to nearly 4 million locations nationwide, of which over 650,000 include apartments and condo units. AT&T plans to reach at least 12.5 million locations by mid-2019.
“The announcement that AT&T's ultra-fast 100% fiber internet is available in Knoxville is exactly the type of investment that will keep our region at the forefront as we work to drive economic development and job creation,” said Jim Biggs, executive director, Knoxville Entrepreneur Center.

U-verse with AT&T GigaPower available in Franklin

Nashville, Tenn., Aug. 27, 2015 – As AT&T continues the expansion of its fiber-optic platform called U-verse with AT&T GigaPower, residents of Franklin now can connect to the Internet with speeds of up to 1 Gigabit per second.
“While there is no doubt consumers from across the area will benefit from this new, ultra-fast Internet, the service also reflects the strong confidence employers and businesses have in our community,” said Matt Largen, president and CEO of Williamson Inc. “The hard work of our legislators and local elected officials has been vital in encouraging this type of investment, and I look forward to even more interest from employers as a result of this new service in Franklin.”

July 20, 2015 – U-verse with AT&T GigaPower is now available to more residents in multiple properties in the Nashville area. Some of these properties include:

  • Clarksville - Addison at Rossview, Sonoma Ridge at Fairview and Stone Gate Condos
  • Murfreesboro - Richland Falls, Panther Creek Parc and 3343 Memorial
  • Nashville - The Dallas at Elliston Place, The Flats at Taylor Place, Lofts at the Reserve, Park at Melrose Heights, Pine Street Flats and Lofts at State
  • Smyrna - Almaville Farms at Seven Oaks.

AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Power Available in Tennessee

August 26, 2013 – AT&T U-verse customers in 40 markets across 15 states can now get home High Speed Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream. In Tennessee, U-verse High Speed Internet Power is now available to eligible AT&T U-verse residential and small business customers in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis, and Nashville.
U-verse Power is available to eligible residential customers at introductory rates as low as $49.95 per month (pricing excludes taxes and other charges, including activation, installation and monthly Internet equipment fee. Other conditions and restrictions apply.) for up to 24 months when bundled with qualifying TV and voice services. Current, eligible U-verse Internet residential customers can upgrade their package and receive $10 off their bill for 12 months (can change at any time). AT&T U-verse now in Rockwood

Rockwood, Tennessee, July 25, 2013 – Rockwood residents now have a new choice for their television and broadband services with the arrival of AT&T* U-verse®. AT&T today announced the launch of U-verse services including AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice. AT&T U-verse now in Vonroe, Tennessee

Vonore, Tennessee, July 02, 2013 – Vonore residents now have a new choice for their television and broadband services with the arrival of AT&T* U-verse®. AT&T U-verse is being expanded in Tennessee thanks to The Competitive Cable and Video Services Act of 2008, HB 1421. The law provides an environment that encourages new video providers, such as AT&T Tennessee, to invest in Tennessee to compete against incumbent cable providers.

Parrottsville, Tennessee, December 16, 2011 – Residents of parts of Parrottsville and Cocke County now can enjoy the AT&T U-verse services, including U-verse TV, High Speed Internet, and Voice. “This investment is great news for Parrottsville and I’m pleased to see these services coming here,” said Sen. Cross Plains, Tennessee, March 17, 2011 – This month residents in Cross Plains and parts of Robertson County can order AT&T U-verse services. This adds to a great expansion of AT&T U-verse in Tennessee that started back in 2008.

AT&T U-verse Available in Campbell County, Tennessee

Jacksboro, Tennessee, February 25, 2011 – The great series of AT&T U-verse expansion in Tennessee has continued with the arrival of U-verse services into parts of Jacksboro and Caryville.
