Where is AT&T U-verse available in Louisiana?

Since September 2009, AT&T U-verse service is available in parts of Louisiana. Since then, AT&T is working hard on broadening its U-verse service for the rest of Louisiana residents. Below is chronological review of AT&T U-verse availability in Louisiana.

AT&T Fiber Now Available in Shreveport-Bossier Area

Shreveport, Louisiana, February 15, 2017 – AT&T is now offering a 1 gigabit connection on its 100% fiber network powered by AT&T Fiber to customer locations in parts of the Shreveport-Bossier area, including in parts of Shreveport, Bossier City and surrounding communities.
“Our customers are increasingly interacting with their world in more data-intensive ways,” said Sonia Perez, state president, AT&T Louisiana. “A growing number of people are streaming content directly from their devices, and interacting with family and friends through live videos. For these reasons, we’re bringing our fastest internet speeds to the Shreveport-Bossier region.”
“The 100% fiber network from AT&T will contribute to our growing economy and high quality of life in Caddo and Bossier Parishes to help create new jobs, expand small business and enhance educational opportunities,” said State Representative Cedric B. AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Power Available in Louisiana

August 26, 2013 – AT&T U-verse customers in 40 markets across 15 states can now get home High Speed Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream. In Louisiana, U-verse High Speed Internet Power is now available to eligible AT&T U-verse residential and small business customers in Baton Rouge, and New Orleans Metro.
U-verse Power is available to eligible residential customers at introductory rates as low as $49.95 per month (pricing excludes taxes and other charges, including activation, installation and monthly Internet equipment fee. Other conditions and restrictions apply.) for up to 24 months when bundled with qualifying TV and voice services. Current, eligible U-verse Internet residential customers can upgrade their package and receive $10 off their bill for 12 months (can change at any time). Customers can get more information at att.com/uverse. AT&T plans to expand to more markets on an ongoing basis.

AT&T U-verse Available in Southeast Louisiana

New Orleans, Louisiana, October 1, 2009 – AT&T announced today that starting on October 5, residents of Southeast Louisiana will have a choice of AT&T U-verse TV, High Speed Internet, and Voice. AT&T U-verse Available in Baton Rouge, Louisiana

Baton Rouge, Louisiana, September 8, 2009 – AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice services have been launched in parts of Baton Rouge area.
