Where is AT&T U-verse available in Connecticut?

Effective October 25, 2014, the state of Connecticut is no longer part of the AT&T local service territory and residents will not have AT&T as a choice for local service provider of their residential services. Further text is for a reference only.

Since December 2006, AT&T U-verse service is available in parts of Connecticut. Since then, AT&T is working hard on broadening its U-verse service for the rest of Connecticut residents. Below is chronological review of AT&T U-verse availability in Connecticut.

AT&T U-verse High Speed Internet Power Available in Connecticut

August 26, 2013 – AT&T U-verse customers in 40 markets across 15 states can now get home High Speed Internet at speeds of up to 45 Mbps downstream and up to 6 Mbps upstream. In Connecticut, U-verse High Speed Internet Power is now available to eligible AT&T U-verse residential and small business customers in Hartford, and New Haven.
U-verse Power is available to eligible residential customers at introductory rates as low as $49.95 per month (pricing excludes taxes and other charges, including activation, installation and monthly Internet equipment fee. Other conditions and restrictions apply.) for up to 24 months when bundled with qualifying TV and voice services. Current, eligible U-verse Internet residential customers can upgrade their package and receive $10 off their bill for 12 months (can change at any time). Customers can get more information at att.com/uverse. AT&T plans to expand to more markets on an ongoing basis.

Over 500,000 Living Units in Connecticut Can Choose U-verse

Rocky Hill, Connecticut, April 20, 2010 – Since launching AT&T U-verse in nine Connecticut towns in December 2006, AT&T has continued its efforts to make the service more widely available to consumers. AT&T U-verse is currently offered in parts of more than 100 communities across the state, available to more than 500,000 living units across Connecticut. AT&T U-verse Service Available in Ellington, Connecticut

New Haven, Connecticut, May 12, 2009 – As a part of an ongoing service expansion, AT&T announced U-verse service availability in parts of Ellington. Now, residents of Ellington, CT, can order AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice.

AT&T U-verse Available in West Hartford

New Haven, Connecticut, May 12, 2009 – AT&T U-verse TV, AT&T U-verse Internet and AT&T U-verse Voice are available now in West Hartford. The introduction of these new services is part of an ongoing expansion of AT&T U-verse availability across Connecticut.

AT&T U-verse Arrives in New Canaan

Stamford, Connecticut, December 27, 2006 – The most advanced video offering in the market , AT&T U-verse TV, has arrived to Stamford area, including parts of Danbury, Fairfield, Norwalk, Stamford and Trumbull. The expansion of the U-verse service is planned to be on an ongoing bases.
